In the Instructional Design course at Tusculum, we were required to complete a training proposal in hard copy and Powerpoint formats.
The instructor provided basic parameters including details about the business, its identified training needs, and the audience that would review our proposal.
The other three members of my team were on vacation during the four-week duration of this course. While they did some preliminary research, had the opportunity to review finished products, and were present for the “live” (mock) presentation to our class, I had responsibility for creating the two massive deliverable components.
Since I had the responsibility, I took advantage of the opportunity to inject some humor into the work in the form of an inside joke. TPT Corporation stands for “Trailer Park Trash.”
