Action Learning as an Adult Learning Strategy

One of my classes at Tusculum included an assignment to prepare a group presentation on adult learning strategies.

My team was assigned Guided Discovery, Drill and Practice, and Action Learning. We were to provide an overview, suggestions for use, and an example activity for each strategy.

The other three team members, who were “awfully busy with work,” wrote one-half page each Guided Discovery and Drill and Practice and sent it to me with a placeholder showing where to insert my “blurb.”

My part was Action Learning, and it is the 7-page document that is viewable in PDF format by clicking here.

By this point, the team concept was starting to wear very thin for me.
