One thing my Tusculum team could do very well was create flowcharts and matrices.
We had one engineer, one computer nerd (me), and one extremely linear thinker. The fourth member kept us from going too far off the cliff into minutiae. [wink] So, flowcharting (whether process, decision-making, or other) seemed to be more evenly balanced as a group effort than other activities.
We brainstormed and came up with a pretty good flowchart for use in selecting instructional media. One of the other members of my team created the document you can view by clicking here (PDF format).
Then, in a rare occurrence for this program, all the teams in my cohort group sort of spontaneously realized it would be great if we combined our essential decision points into a matrix. One of my team members took on the task of creating the document you can view by clicking here (PDF format).
